San Francisco--US vs. USSR and Italy
June 1, 1942: Author: Charles Tyson

After the fall of France, von Ribbentrop used captured magnums of champagne
to persuade Molotov to expand the Non-Aggression Pact into a full-blown
alliance! While the Germans chased the British around North Africa, the
Italians and Russians schemed to conquer the United States before it could
mobilize its forces. To achieve strategic surprise, the campaign was launched
against the U.S. west coast. Italian fifth columnists working in the Napa
Valley vineyards seized control of that region in April, 1942.
Reinforcements took the vital Mare Island Shipyard, but the Axis campaign
was bogging down until a powerful Russian armored group landed at Fort Ross.
Their plan is to spoil the Yankee 4th of July by capturing San Francisco,
Oakland, San Jose and Sacramento before that date. Desperately short of
equipment, the U.S. Army has acquired some lend-lease antitank guns from
the Yugoslavs. The Golden Gate Bridge has been dynamited to delay the enemy.
Take ALL the victory objectives.
