Description:
In June 1982 the situation in Lebanon had become dramatic for Israel. The PLO, whose
presence in the country contribute the emergence of the civil war of 1975, had become
a "state in the state". Yassir Arafat beginn to set up regular PLO brigades instead of
his former guerillas troops. The lebanese government was unable to restore the public
order, all the more their weapons are drifting into the hands of the PLO and different
militias. Syria establish a big "peace-keeping-force" in main parts of the country.
Israel won't put on a brave face to Katjusha ambushs to the israeli north. So, the
operation "Peace for Galilee" begins...
"Allah akbar" (God is allmighty)

Remarks:
It's not easy to create a modern scenario with the tools of Allied General. I try
do do my very best. Some type of units has fixed characteristics (e.g. you can give an
air attack value to a destroyer but the ship can never attack itself, it only defense
when attacked). I can't change that. Nevertheless I hope that I have delievered a good
work and you enjoy it.

Installation:
Copy the scenario file (e.g. game0xx.scn) in the scenario-subdirectory of your
Allied General directory. The number of the scenario (e.g. game002.scn) is
corresponding to the scenario numbers of the Allied General scenario selection
screen (e.g. to start the game002.scn, you have to click on the "El Agheila"
scenario, the number 3 belongs to "Crusader", the "Tripoli" scenario should be
the game006.scn etc.).
Don't be afraid to overwrite the original scenario. On the AG CD in the AG/scenario
directory you'll always find the original files. Just copy them back.
If there comes a "mapnames.str" and/or a "panzequp.eqp" in this zip-file,
copy this files to the data-subdirectory of your Allied General directory.
They often only work with this specific scenario. If you want to play "normal"
AG scenarios, you've to copy the original files back to the data-subdirectory. You'll
find the originals in the AG/data subdirectory of your AG CD.

NOTE: In the dialog-box "Preferences", which appears after choosing a scenario,
you'll find the two options "Show Hidden Units" and "Show Opponent Moves". The
default is 'deactivated'. Normally you can activate them if you like to
do so, but note that there're some custom scenarios which crash your system when
ACTIVATING this options. This crash will do no harm, just let them deactivated
and have fun...

Victory conditions
Regardless of the message on the "scenario-end-screen" (e.g. Axis victory), the
scenario is designed in this manner: the attacker ALWAYS have to take ALL the
victory objectives. If the attacker fails to do so, it's a loss for his side !
